A Beautiful Button World

I adore buttons!!! What could be cuter? Two days ago, my stash was quite unimpressive. I was in dire need of a sizable amount of attractive buttons (for a specific purpose which shall be revealed within a few days), so I made an online purchase of a tidy sum. Amazon.com is a wonderful "store," folks! It's been a lifesaver for my family since we can't just go on a shopping spree any old time we'd like. =) However, online shopping has its faults. It's difficult to be sure that the item you intend to purchase will be satisfactory. The only sense available to you is sight, and often even that allowance is hindered by poor photography. I was hesitant concerning the buttons I found on Amazon. The bargain was excellent, however, so I deducted that the purchase was worth my money. In conclusion, I was thoroughly delighted upon rapturously beholding my beautiful buttons yesterday. Foof-A-La Bag-O-Buttons are to be highly recommended, as well as this superior Button Bargain.

My sister and I excitedly sorted through our new buttons upon their arrival in the mail. You would think buttons were made of precious gemstones, the way we carried on. (giggle) We separated our favorites and placed them about our room for extra beauty. In this heart-shaped dish are buttons featuring flowers. To the right are my very favorite ones. Lovely, aren't they?

Buttons with spirals, glitter, and delicate designs.

And here--here is our most treasured find. A dainty little pink heart button! Isn't it the sweetest thing?

Naomi,
I love your post about buttons, and I totally agree about how neat they are! My mother-in-law were just talking about how when we were little we used to go through our mother's button jars and look at all the different shapes, sizes, and colors. We would separate them out and organize them. She recently got a selection of buttons, much like yours, and we sat and looked at them, sorting them out (including ones with floers) and had so much fun! I will definitely check out your recommendations, because the buttons you found are so beautiful!
Have a Merry Christmas!
