The LORD Thy Confidence

Be not afraid of sudden fear
neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh

For the LORD shall be thy confidence
and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Proverbs 3:25-26

While God gave us the instinct of fear and we should make every effort to avoid dangerous situations, our fear should never be greater than our confidence that God will keep us safe.

In the photo: Four-wheeler tracks on the beach forty miles from our village, taken last summer during a fun trip. I hope to share more pictures from the trip in the near future!

How pretty! Lake Erie is 20 miles away from where we live, but I wouldn't mind having an Artic ocean! (Just minus the cold) :-)
