Show Me, Lord

When I place myself before
The mirror of God's Word,
Reflections of my weaknesses I see.
Am I willing to improve,
Impurities remove,
Or simply walk away, content to be?

Show me, Lord, the error of my way,
Show me, Lord, where I have gone astray,
And with Your help
And by Your grace,
I'll do Your will, Thy Word embrace.

As I daily search Your Word
The Spirit speaks to me,
Reminding me of sinfulness in my heart.
Do I heed His tender call
And give to Him my all,
Or shun His perfect will, from Him depart?
